With the royal nuptials nearly upon us, Kensington Palace has revealed where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be residing the night before their big day. In line with tradition, the pair will be staying separately from each other on Friday evening.

Coworth Park Hotel

The Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park in Ascot provides a perfect escape from the paparazzi for Prince Harry. This luxurious five-star Georgian manor house is set within 240 acres of parkland and includes a spa, which offers a selection of treatments for men, should the Prince need a helping hand relaxing prior to his big day. A wildflower meadow in front of the house, meanwhile, offers the perfect place for a calming stroll to soothe any wedding morning nerves.

The Guards Polo Academy is also based at Coworth Park and the Royal Family often attend matches in the grounds, making this a familiar venue for the Prince, who will be accompanied by his best man, the Duke of Cambridge. With rooms available from £315 per night, the Prince should have money to spare for a bite to eat in the Michelin starred dining room.

Ms Markle will be staying a 30 minute drive away at Cliveden House Hotel, located on a 376 acre National Trust estate in Berkshire.

The historic Italianate mansion has royal connections and was once the home of Prince Frederick of Wales.

Meghan will be joined by her mother, Doria Ragland, and the pair can enjoy some mother-daughter bonding in the spa, which includes an indoor pool and the outdoor ‘Profumo’ pool, which is the last remaining listed outdoor pool in England. The facilities also include two outdoor hot tubs and a tennis club, alongside a wide range of pampering treatments.

A number of exquisite private dining rooms are available should the future Princess and her mother fancy a bite to eat, while the André Garret restaurant offers award-winning cuisine. With classic rooms available from £525 a night during the popular summer months, the hotel is just far enough away from Windsor Castle to arrive fashionably late, should Ms Markle want to make an entrance to the wedding of the year.
