ENGLISH newspapers are not alone in their attempts to hoodwink their readers on April Fool's Day. In France, where those duped by spoofs are derided as 'fish', the most spectacular sporting spoof appeared in L'Equipe, which devoted half of its front page and all of its back page to the news that PROST REVIENT] The only clue that there is something fishy about the comprehensive coverage is an odd simile: 'Senna sans Prost', one of the articles declares, ' . . . c'etait du Tintin sans le capitaine Haddock.'
