Brad Johnson, the back-up quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, has signed for the London Monarchs of the World League. Johnson, a ninth-round draft pick by the Vikings in 1992, was 22 for 37 for 150 yards last season as a back-up to Warren Moon. The bulk of the Monarchs' players will be selected at the draft in Dallas later this month. The Monarchs' regular season opens at Frankfurt on 8 April.
