Erik Bo Andersen, a Danish international striker, is expected to undergo a medical in Glasgow today before signing for Rangers.
Danish radio reported yesterday that Andersen had already signed in a pounds 1.2m deal, but Rangers secretary, Campbell Ogilvie, said: "Nothing has been concluded yet." Andersen, the Danish League's leading scorer with 24 goals last season, helped Aalborg lift the championship for the first time in their 110-year history last year.
Meanwhile, Celtic's attempt to sign the Sporting Lisbon striker, Jorge Cadete, has hit a snag as they have not received clearance for the 27- year-old from the Portuguese club.
