Antonin, third to Val D'Alene in Saturday's Racing Post Chase, will not tackle the same horse again in the Cheltenham Gold Cup but may contest one of the handicaps at the Festival. The seven-year-old, who had been a 50-1 chance for the Gold Cup, is now earmarked for either the Ritz Club Chase or the Fulke Walwyn/Kim Muir Chase.
One Man, a faller in the Racing Post Chase, is reported to be "like somebody recovering from a hard night or two," according to his trainer, Gordon Richards. "Maybe some racecourse will let me give him a gallop," he said.
