Leroy Burrell crosses the line in a world record of 9.85 seconds for the 100 metres in Lausanne last night. Davidson Ezinwa, of Nigeria, finished in second place in 9.99sec, with Burrell's compatriots, Dennis Mitchell, in third, and John Drummond in fourth.
