Thomas Stuer-Lauridsen, the fifth seed from Denmark, yesterday withdrew from the Yonex All England Championships in Birmingham. Stuer-Lauridsen has been suffering from back trouble for three months and decided to withdraw when he saw the timetable. With no singles matches scheduled for today, it would have meant playing two matches tomorrow and two on Thursday.
