Bud Selig, the acting Baseball Commissioner, has decided to cancel the strike-hit season, the Chicago Tribune reported yesterday. On Friday, major league owners rejected a plan from the players to end the strike, which is over the owners' demands to cap their salaries. Though Selig has said that he will make an official announcement 'early next week', the Tribune reported that his mind is made up to scrub the season.
