Spain provided a lesson in the simple arts at the Plymouth Pavilions on Saturday night to put a dent in England's hopes of progressing to the 1999 European Championship finals from their six-team semi-final group.

England will have to shoot better themselves against their next opponents, the Ukraine, in Guildford on Wednesday.
