CHESTER JETS' new American, Kyle Ivey-Jones, was stranded in Boston on Friday night as Hurricane Floyd threatened to blow away his chances of making a debut in tonight's opening round of the Dairylea Dunkers Championship.
The Jets, a Northern Conference Team, are away to the South Conference's Thames Valley Tigers in the reorganised Championship following the end of Budweiser's six-year sponsorship of the League.
Chester's coach, Robbie Peers, had acted quickly to find the 6ft 7in Ivey-Jones after earlier this week losing Kenny Pratt for the entire season because of a knee injury.
