Berger crashes in practice

Gerhard Berger emerged unhurt from his second high-speed crash in as many weeks, the Austrian spinning his Benetton-Renault during Formula One tests in Estoril yesterday.

Berger's car slammed backwards into the safety rails at around 110mph. He emerged unhurt but damage to the car put an end to his practice session.Michael Schumacher's Ferrari had the fastest lap in 1:34.62.
