Ingrid Betke, of Thaxted, Essex, triumphed in the Double Century Sherry English Women's Bowling Association singles championship at Royal Leamington Spa yesterday. Her 21-12 victory over Pat Kirk was more straightforward than her 21-19 semi-final win over Caroline Duarte. Peterborough, skipped by Catherine Anton, beat Carlton Conway 25-8 in the fours final.
