Chris Eubank's opponent for his fight in Dubai on 27 March will be Shannon Lamberg of the United States, No 3 in the World Boxing Organisation rankings.

Ken Norton Jr, son of the former world heavyweight champion who plays for the San Francisco 49ers, has been refused entry to a Golden Gloves tournament by USA Boxing, who think it would set a bad precedent to let a professional football player compete in the amateur event.
