Axel Schulz, of Germany, will not become the new International Federation heavyweight champion if Frans Botha is stripped of the title at a hearing in New York tomorrow. Botha, of South Afri ca, beat Schulz in a fight for the vacant IBF crown on 9 December but then tested positive for steroids. Bob Lee, the IBF president, said that five options are available to the committee - they can fine Botha an undetermined amount, suspend him an undetermined length of time, take no action, declare the title vacant or call for an immediate rematch.
