Boxing

Steve Lewis, of Pontypridd, has been asked to step down from the British Olympic Games team. The request follows the dispute between boxing trainers in Wales and the Welsh Amateur Association, which has already seen amateur boxers pulled out of fights. The WABA chose Lewis for the Games, but the trainers have boycotted national squad selections by holding boxers back.
