Floyd Mayweather has labelled Manny Pacquiao "a sore loser and a coward" following their blockbuster Las Vegas showdown, and revealed that at present he has no intentions of facing the Filipino in a rematch.

Last weekend’s fight was a record-breaker in terms of the money each fighter received, with Mayweather and Pacquiao sharing out over £300m in a 60-40 split in the American’s favour. It was ‘Money’ who emerged as a convincing winner, with Pacquiao complaining of a shoulder injury suffered in the fourth round that stemmed from a training injury three weeks before the fight took place.

That has landed Pacquiao in hot water, with a multiple law suits filed against him and the possibility of facing disciplinary action from Nevada State Officials, abut Mayweather has blasted his opponent for his post-fight comments and come after the American previously said “winners win, losers make excuses”.

In an interview with Showtime that will be screened in the coming days, Mayweather said: "Excuses, excuses, excuses.

When asked by Jim Gray whether Pacquiao was hampered by the injury – which has required the 36-year-old to undergo surgery in Los Angeles this week – Mayweather answered: “Absolutely not.

“He was fast. His left hand was fast. His right hand was fast and he was throwing them both fast and strong.''

Mayweather then criticised Pacquiao’s words in public during the fallout of the fight, as he said: “I'm not going to buy into the bulls*** and I don't want the public to buy into the bulls***.”

''He lost,'' Mayweather added. ''He knows he lost. I lost a lot of respect for him after all of this.''

Mayweather revealed that following the fight and the news of Pacquiao’s injury, he sent a text message to ESPN reporter Stephen A Smith to express an interest in a rematch with ‘Pacman’ once he’s recovered form injury, but he has now ruled out that possibility.

“Did I text Stephen A Smith and say I will fight him again? Yeah, but I change my mind,” he added.
