The winner of Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor will be awarded with a special 'Money' belt created by the World Boxing Council (WBC).

The crocodile leather belt is encrusted with 3,600 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds and 1.5kg of 24-karat gold.

Floyd Mayweather represents boxing and has come out of retirement to face Conor McGregor the superstar of mixed martial arts who represents the UFC," the WBC said in a statement.

"The UFC has stood behind Conor and the WBC stands firm in support of Floyd.

“The WBC is proud to present the ‘money belt’ which is without a question the most incredible unique piece ever made in the history of all sports.”

Mayweather, who goes by the nickname 'Money' has won 25 WBC world championship fights and been awarded with special belts in the past.

The undefeated boxer won a ‘Diamond’ belt against Miguel Cotto, a ‘Gold’ belt against Canelo Alvarez and an ‘Emerald’ belt against Manny Pacquiao.
