Tyson Fury renews verbal tirade on ‘big dosser’ Deontay Wilder ahead of February rematch

Heavyweight rivals will collide for the second time in February, with the Briton insisting that he won their first drawn bout a year ago

Tyson Fury has renewed his verbal attack on “big dosser” Deontay Wilder ahead of their February rematch, claiming that everyone from his trainer to his wife knows that he lost their initial encounter.

Fury and Wilder battled their way to a draw back in December 2018, with Fury just clinging on to his undefeated record by surviving a brutal knockdown in the final round.

With the pair set to renew their rivalry on 22 February to battle once again for the WBC heavyweight championship, fighting talk between the two has steadily increased as the days tick down, with Fury making the most of his social media platform to send a jibe or two towards the American.

In his latest Instagram video, Fury has criticised Wilder for the calibre of his opponents since their bout, having comfortably beaten Dominic Breazeale and Luis Ortiz in his last two outings.

"The big dosser says he fights all the best heavyweights but Dominic Breazeale isn't the best, and neither is Luis Ortiz,” Fury said of Wilder.

"Breazeale is average at best and Ortiz is 145 years old, and somebody you had already knocked out.

"You fight the best, do you?”

Fury has been adamant that he was robbed by the judges in their Los Angeles bout a year ago, claiming that he had done enough over the course of the 12 rounds to make up for the two knockdowns he suffered.

The 31-year-old has stuck to his guns in his verdict, and claimed that the only world-calibre opponents that Wilder has fought went on to beat him, even if he didn’t get the decision.

"You've only fought one good man in your career. That's me, and I beat you. Everybody in the world knows you lost to The Gypsy King,” Fury added.

"A Gypsy King that had been out of the ring for three years. I still beat you, on 50 per cent.

"I will beat you, dosser. I ain't afraid. I wasn't bothered about you back then, and I'm definitely not bothered now.

"You know you lost, your trainer, your manager, promoter, wife, kids, they all know The Gypsy King bettered you."
