Broncos go on the rampage
Rugby League
London Broncos 46 Oldham 14
Broncos produced a superb attacking performance on their first appearance at The Valley, racking up nine tries after Oldham had taken an early lead. Francis Maloney kicked a penalty for Oldham and converted Wally Gibson's try before Broncos clicked into gear. Stand-off Ben Walker scored their first try and impressive running resulted in scores for Kevin Langer and Kieran Meyer.
Winger Mark Riley crossed the line twice as Broncos built a 28-8 half- time lead, and although Scott Ransom lifted Oldham with a try after the restart, Broncos stayed in command. Walker capped their performance with a 95-metre run and second try.
