Commonwealth Games

Cameroon, once part of the French empire, and Mozambique, the former Portuguese colony, will both take part in the next in Kuala Lumpur in 1998. The two African nations who were admitted to the Commonwealth last year, were accepted into the Federation by a large majority vote at the federation's general assembly.
