Pakistan's selection problems took a new twist yesterday when their captain, Moin Khan, was diagnosed with chicken pox soon after the defeat of Bangladesh in the Asia Cup on Saturday and has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

ASIA CUP (Sharjah, UAE; one-day matches): (Saturday): Bangladesh 151 for 8 (50 overs); Pakistan 152. Pakistan won by six wickets. (Yesterday): Sri Lanka 202 for 9 (50 overs); India 206 for 2 (33.1 overs; S R Tendulkar 112no, M Prabhakar 60). India won by eight wickets.
