Wasim Akram's pace yesterday bowled Pakistan to a crushing 301- run victory over Sri Lanka in the First Test in Colombo. Chasing 483, Sri Lanka were ripped out for 181 with an hour to spare of the fourth day with Wasim grabbing five for 43 - including a devastating burst of three wickets in 10 balls. England remain in danger of defeat in the first Under-19 Test against India, despite a third- wicket partnership of 194 between Yorkshiremen Michael Vaughan and Chris Schofield. Vaughan scored 162 and Schofield 92 but England, 326 for two at tea, had collapsed to 403 for seven and were only 152 runs ahead following on.
