CRICKET WORLD CUP: QUOTE OF THE WEEKEND

"The sign of a good team is how they bounce back. If we beat Zimbabwe on Tuesday and get a win against India next Saturday we go through as, probably, the second team.

"The next game is the one we are looking forward to, and we hope to put in a performance that warrants a win.

"All they [South Africa] did was to confirm that they are the tournament favourites. They bowled well and we never really got on top of them."

Alec Stewart, England's captain, after Saturday's thrashing by South Africa
