Andy Caddick has been called up for the England cricket squad to tour New Zealand, despite refusing to take part in the recent test series against India.

However, there is no place for Glamorgan off-spinner Robert Croft who also stayed at home beause of fears over security.

The selectors have largely kept faith with the team that competed relatively well against India, with only Martyn Ball and Richard Johnson losing their places

Graham Thorpe, who left the Indian tour early because of personal problems is also back in the side.
