Every World Cup has a breakout star. Think Sanath Jayasuria in 1996, Shoaib Akhtar in 1999 or Lasith Malinga and Shaun Tait in 2007. For some, it is the start of a glittering career. For others, such as Kenya's Collins Obuya, who lit up the 2003 tournament, an inspired World Cup will be as good as it gets.
Some of these cricketers are already global superstars. Others have made just a handful of international appearances. But all of them will be hoping that this is their moment to shine on the global stage:
