Former England wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor joins Sussex coaching staff
Taylor will focus on working with the club’s wicketkeepers
Sussex have announced the additions of Sarah Taylor and Ashley Wright to their coaching staff for the forthcoming season.
Former England Women international Taylor will focus on working with the club’s wicketkeepers while Wright will assist Sussex’s lead batting coach Jason Swift.
Taylor and Wright will support the full-time coaching team, working with the professional squad and the cricket pathway programme on a part-time basis.
Taylor, who made a record 227 wicketkeeping dismissals in the women’s international game, said: “I’m really pleased about working with the club’s wicketkeepers.
“I want to share my experience and expertise to help them get the most out of their game.”
Former Leicestershire player Wright, brother of Sussex batsman Luke Wright, has previously worked with Surrey and Bangladesh Premier League side Rajshahi Kings, and coached the Guernsey national team.
