Opener Matthew Wade smashed 72 runs off 43 balls yesterday to set up Australia's 31-run win over India in the first of two Twenty20 internationals. Wade shared a 56-run third-wicket partnership with David Hussey (42), to lead Australia to 171-4.
India made a poor start to their chase and were struggling at 72-5 before top-scorer M S Dhoni arrived at the crease to steady the innings. India made just 140-6 in reply, however.
