Kevin Pietersen has given his ego a much-needed boost by having a map of the world tattooed on his back.

The artwork features a red star on all the placed he has scored an international century.

The former England batsman still seems hopeful that he might be able to add some more. Sacked last year from the international set-up, he's been making it clear he would be open for a recall.

After KP posted the images, there were suggestions that the map was the wrong way round but he allayed fears that he had had something daft permanently printed on his body, explaining it was: "just the reflection"

Pietersen scored 32 international centuries, 23 of them in Test matches, during his career. He first ton came in the final Test of England's 2005 Ashes victory at The Oval.
