Mohali has been confirmed as the venue for the second Test between India and England, the England and Wales Cricket Board have announced.
The ECB's security advisor, Reg Dickason, has given the venue his seal of approval from a safety perspective, so the match will begin as scheduled on 19 December.
The terror attacks in Mumbai last month led to England cutting short the one-day series but they have returned to India for the two-Test programme after receiving assurances over security, with the first Test starting in Chennai tomorrow.
