T20: Murali goes wicketless as Gloucestershire are thrashed
Muttiah Muralitharan made his debut for Gloucestershire in the Friends Life T20 last night, but it is not a match he will remember with great affection.
The Sri Lankan 39-year-old went for 27 runs from his three overs, taking no wickets, as the Gladiators were handily beaten by Surrey at The Oval, by 8 wickets.
Elsewhere, the Irishman William Porterfield hit an entertaining 83 from 53 balls to guide Warwickshire to a five-wicket victory over Durham at The Riverside.
