England's poor form at the World Series of Women's Cricket continued here yesterday. Having already lost to India and Australia in the four-team tournament, England went down by four wickets to the host nation.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, England were all out for 140, with 30 extras bolstering a weak effort. Emily Drumm did most of the damage for the Kiwis, claiming three top-order batswomen.

To confirm New Zealand's supremacy Rebecca Rolls (41) and Michelle Lynch (29) put on 73 for the first wicket and, although Lucy Pearson and Laura Harper took two wickets each, the result was never in doubt as New Zealand won with 11.5 overs to spare.
