Video emerges of high-speed collision in Utah leaving cyclist Matt Brammier hospitalised
Footage shows the MTN-Qhubeka cyclist losing control round a bend and flying directly into a service car

Matt Brammeier, a cyclist for the South African ProContinental team MTN-Qhubeka, was involved in a huge collision with a service car during stage six of the Tour of Utah.
The rider was chasing the pack during the descent of the Guardsman’s Pass when he lost control round a bend which sent him flying into a vehicle.

The video also shows two other riders dismounted from their bicycles as they collide with a motorbike that slowed down to avoid the initial collision.
Brammeier was immediately taken to hospital and according to Cycling News; the Irishman was diagnosed with injuries to his pelvis, ribs and lung.
Brammier took the collision in good spirits shown by his recent tweets.
