Baseball

Dave Winfield announced his retirement from the US Major League yesterday. The 44-year-old outfielder who played for Cleveland last year, has spent 23 seasons in the major leagues with San Diego, the New York Yankees, California Angels, Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins and the Indians.
