Lanfranco Dettori misses his only booked ride at Lingfield today, Admiral Hood, after injuring his left foot at Wolverhampton yesterday. The knock occurred as he left the starting stalls on Bretton Princess in the seller.

The champion jockey, two behind Jason Weaver in this year's riders championship, aims to return at Southwell tomorrow.

Lingfield was the only meeting to go ahead yesterday after the abandonment of Folkestone and Sedgefield due to waterlogging. Taunton holds an inspection at 7.30 am for today's card.
