A posse of Ireland's leading Cheltenham challengers, notably Sound Man and Fortune And Fame, worked in the gathering gloom after racing at Leopardstown yesterday.

Richard Dunwoody tested Fortune And Fame, whom he may be obliged to ride instead of Alderbrook in the Champion Hurdle, against Derrymoyle and Tiananmen Square, and also partnered Ventana Canyon in a work-out with Sound Man.

In Gold Cup betting, Couldnt Be Better was supported with Ladbrokes to 12-1 from 14-1 and Dublin Flyer to 7-1 from 8-1.
