The German soccer federation (DFB) yesterday reversed the result of a Bayern Munich victory over Eintracht Frankfurt two weeks ago to punish the reigning champions for fielding too many amateur players. Eight fans stopped a taxi taking Philippos Bakas to Athens airport, dragged him out and hit him with iron bars and chains before driving off. Striker Christo Warzycha converted the penalty for a 1-0 win for Panathinaikos.
