South Africa have reaffirmed their bid to host the World Cup in 2006 in the wake of the public spat between England and Germany for the right to tender for the finals. South Africa originally announced their intention to bid for the tournament two years ago but have done little else since.

Sheffield United's First Division match at home to Stoke City tomorrow night has now been designated all-ticket after increased demand for discounted seats. No tickets will be on sale after midday on match day.
