Darlington are confident they can clear an pounds 86,000 tax debt after being issued with a winding-up order by the Inland Revenue. The Third Division club are expected to announce a pounds 118,000 trading profit at next week's annual meeting, and two syndicates are interested in buying the Quakers by meeting the club's pounds 500,000 asking price.
