Steve Archibald, the former Tottenham and Barcelona striker who lost his job as manager of East Fife earlier this season, has joined the Dublin club Home Farm Everton as a player.

Arbroath sacked their manager John Brogan and his assistant Jim Kerr after losing 4-1 at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday. "It's disappointing but I felt it was coming and we've parted amicably," Brogan said.
