Celtic will be without Tosh McKinlay as well as Alan Stubbs for tomorrow's Coca-Cola Cup tie at Clyde due to suspensions. As well as having debutant Stubbs sent off during Saturday's Premier Division opener at Aberdeen, McKinlay was shown a red card after the game, following a clash with an opponent after the final whistle.

Burnley FC have been given pounds 500,000 from the Sports Lottery fund. The community grant will go towards refurbishing and redeveloping the club's 30-year-old gymnasium at Turf Moor.

Bolton Wanderers hope to sign the French striker Laurent Sachy from Toulouse today. Sachy, 27, has impressed in trial games and will only cost a small fee.
