Bristol City will ask Southampton for pounds 200,000 for their defender Richard Dryden, who is currently having trials with the Saints on their Irish pre-season tour. The 27-year-old former Birmingham player has also been on trial with Dundee United.

Bury have spent pounds 40,000 on Huddersfield Town's striker Ronnie Jepson.
