LOU MACARI faces an emotional first visit to Old Trafford as a manager in tonight's Coca-Cola Cup second round second leg between Manchester United and Stoke City.
Macari was a great favourite during his 11 years as a Manchester United player, collecting an FA Cup winners' medal in 1977.
The game also takes place just 48 hours after the death of Jim Holton, Macari's former Scotland and United team-mate. 'It will make things even more emotional,' Macari said. 'Jim was a big man on and off the field and his death came as a massive shock to everyone who knew him.'
First Division Stoke hold a 2-1 lead from the first leg.
