Football: Colombia make striking switch
THEIR reputation as possible World Cup winners dented by Saturday's loss to Romania, Colombia are planning changes in tactics and personnel for today's Group A encounter with the United States in Pasadena. The Bayern Munich forward, Adolfo Valencia, has been replaced by Anthony De Avila, of America Cali. The host nation will probably be without Claudio Reyna, who has a hamstring injury.
Romania are likely to be unchanged against Switzerland at the Pontiac Silverdome today. Adrian Knup, who has scored 21 times in 31 internationals, will play up front for the Swiss, after missing the opening draw against the States with an ankle injury.
