Notts County moved 10 points clear at the head of the Nationwide Third Division last night with a 1-0 home win over Hull.
County's eighth successive League victory equalled a club record dating back to 1914, but Hull's goalkeeper, Steve Wilson, made a series of fine saves to make life difficult for County. Ian Richardson, a defender sent up for a corner provided the breakthrough after 54 minutes, heading in Mark Robson's flag kick at the far post.
