Football: Motson voted mike with the mostest

John Motson poses with the FA Carling Premiership trophy after learning that football fans have voted him most popular television commentator.

The BBC veteran polled nearly 39 per cent of the votes cast by British fans in a survey on the Internet conducted by Carling. His nearest rival, Martin Tyler, polled 14 per cent of the vote. Barry Davies was third with eight per cent.
