THE Southampton midfielder Terry Hurlock and Willie Falconer of Middlesbrough were sent off after an off-the-ball incident in the 20th minute of last night's Premier League match at Ayresome Park, which the home side won 2-1.

Nicky Mohan put Boro ahead four minutes after the double sending-off, Matthew Le Tissier replied for Southampton after the break before Paul Wilkinson scored the 71st-minute winner.
