Mike Kelly, the former England goalkeeping coach, has joined Nottingham Forest after three years with Middlesbrough. Kelly, who has held similar posts with Liverpool, West Ham and Leeds, worked with the England squad in the 1986 and 1990 World Cup finals and with Switzerland in the 1994 finals.

Mike Sheron, Stoke City's top scorer, is set to join Queen's Park Rangers today for pounds 2.5m.

David Lee, the Bolton Wanderers winger, is expected to join Wigan Athletic in a pounds 250,000 deal today.
