LEEDS UNITED'S attempt to land Tore Andre Flo as a replacement for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been turned down by Chelsea, according to the News of the World, who report the rejection of a pounds 10m bid, while elsewhere revealing that Coventry's former Leeds striker Noel Whelan wants to go back. The Sunday Mirror suggests, however, that manager David O'Leary may now switch his sights to Milan's Oliver Bierhoff, reckoning that the Italian champions might want to cash in on the 31-year-old German, top scorer last season, while he is still hot. Intriguingly, O'Leary tells the Sunday Express: "I know who I want and I will spend pounds 12m in one lump sum."
