OUT OF action for almost a year after suffering a cracked cheekbone, Scales made a Tottenham comeback in October but disappeared from view again the following month. Now confined to reserve team games, the 32- year-old former Wimbledon and Liverpool centre-half, signed for pounds 2.7m by Gerry Francis, looks certain to be on his way in the summer.
