Adam keen to emulate the green half of Glasgow
The Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam is confident his club can match Celtic and secure European football beyond the new year. Paul Le Guen's men flew out to Auxerre yesterday for the Uefa Cup tie with the French side tonight after the Hoops defeated Manchester United on Tuesday to reach the Champions' League knockout phase.
Rangers lead their group after wins over Livorno and Maccabi Haifa and require just a point to reach the last 32. Adam said: "Celtic had their night last night and we want to have ours tomorrow. It would be great to be in Europe at Christmas."
